Fruchtig hopfiger Beginn und Mittelteil. Süß-bitter, der Hopfen steigt noch leicht an, moderat würzig, mittelmäßige Süffigkeit. Mittellanger Abgang. 10/11/12/11/8/11

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks good. Beer in the glass dark brown, nice head. Spicy malty aroma. Starts fine malty, light roasty, some herbal notes. Mild sourish touch. Bitter hoppy notes in the background. Finish well balanced. Nice!

Bottle picked up from the Beyond Beer Webshop Hamburg consumed at home Saturday 27th February 2021 after a day spent gardening, listening to Protomartyr - Under Color of Official Right. Pours chestnut in colour with an off white head. This is a very good Doppelbock that is elevated above the ordinary by the addition of chilli and chocolate. Smooth, easy drinking, warming, in fact the chilli has a nice bite. Milk chocolate with a kick, great beer.

Wenig malziger Beginn, überraschend flach. Auch die Habaneros kommen zumindest zum Abgang gar nicht durch, somit nur etwas getredig, ohne greifbares Aroma. Etwas gemüsig im Mittelteil, die Chili kommt stärker durch, ich vermisse weiterhin das Malz. Mittellanger Abgang mit zunehmender Schärfe, die aber auch hier moderat ausfällt. 10/6/9/10/12/9

Getreidiger, süßlich brotiger Beginn. Mild hopfig, angenehme Süße, süffig. Der fehlende Alkohol ist erkennbar, dennoch aber ausgewogen und passend. Gut. 9/10/9/9/7/9
