Hazy amber - tawny colour. The aroma indicates a firm alcoholic bock with lots of caramel malts, light woodiness and a hint of fruit. Fairly fresh malt character, with quite a bit of alcoholic dryness.

Golden, clear. Herbal hop aroma. Clean, pale malt palate with moderate biterness and a herbal hop character with light mint. Well-balanced. Fresh hops, and a good dry refreshing finish.

Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm
Cloudy blond color; creamy head. It has a mellow aroma of wheat, with banana and light paper. Sweetish wheat flavor, light, not spicy, a bit fruity, with very low bitterness; the body is quite weak, and it’s mostly evident at the end. Surely refreshing.

Bottle, from trade with Papsoe. It pours a slightly hazy, orange-copper body under a small, off-white head. Malty-sweet on the nose, with some caramel and dried fruits. A faint whiff of alcohol and DMS also escapes the glass. Caramel, some roasted notes and a little oxidation in the mouth. A tiny touch of butterscotch too, as well as some alcohol and hoppy bitterness too. Full-bodied. Lasting caramel-sweet finish with some bitterness. The beer being three months past BB-date gives it a little oxidation, but in a pleasant way. Definately a nice one, well suited as a companion to a good book by the fire. (090221)

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm) Copper colour with firm, beige head. Malty nose with dried fruit, apricots, orange peel and slightly toasty grain. Malty taste with notes of toasted grain, dried fruit and a generous spicy bitterness in the finish. Slightly above medium body, balanced malt sweetness. Very well balanced and rather tasty bock. Nice one.
