Aroma has malt and licorice. Sweetish, malty flavor with licorice and some fruitiness. Clean palate, low on carbon. Typical Bavarian lager, the emphasis is on the malt.

Creamy head. Flowery aroma with grape juice. Citric flavor, also grape juice present. Just a bit on the sweet side. A bit bland, but easy to drink and a good thirst quencher.

Dark brown color, frothy head. Sugar and caramel aroma. Sweet flavor with caramel. some coffee and chichorei. Fairly clean palate, one of the better Beck beers from Trabelsdorf.

Some hops, but otherwise soapy aroma. Fairly malty for a low alcohol lager. Thin. Flavor has only limited hopbitterness. Bland, but not too bad for a low alcohol beer.

Slight hoppy aroma with hints of soapiness. Hopbitter flavor, herbal with hints of cardboard. Hopbitter finish. Iám beginning to think Beck Bräu beers don't travel well and have to be drunk in the direct neighborhood of the brewery to make an impression.

Malty, just a bit worty aroma. Malty, bitter flavor, The bitterness is not caused by hops, but has some herbalness and vegetable-like flavors. There are some sharp edges in this beer.

Swing top bottle. Orange color. Cookie caramel aroma. Malty sweet flavor with caramel, cookie dough, butterscotch. Nutty bitter aftertaste with a hint of butter. A grassy hopbitterness lingering on in the aftertaste. Bock with a typical Franconian character.

50cl swing top bottle. A clear amber beer with a off-white head. Aroma of mild smoked caramelized malt, some bacon. Taste of mild smoked malt, caramel, toffee, hints of bacon, strong malt, mild bitterness. Good!
