Near clear golden amber with a ring off white head. Aroma of herbs, malt, caramel, toffee, yeast and veggies. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Brown. Aroma is slight smoke much caramel, light herbs. Taste is sweet caramel, squeaky, cloying. Some herbal tart finish. Pretty balanced. Pretty balanced.Nice.

Bottle. Hazy amber color with soapy white head. Aroma is canned peach, caramel malts, sweet, almost syrupy, some rotten fruits, a touch smoke. Taste is peach, cough syrup, bready, a touch smoke, earthy, sweet finish. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Not great, but not too bad either, this actually becomes better with every sip.

Cloudy light amber. Sweet, grainy nose. Caramel bomb! With a tiny hint of bitterness. But the actual sweetness isn't too overpowering despite the caramel notes.

Schnapp-Fläschla: Haz, amber coloured with a reddish sheen, small persistent off-white head, moderate sweet-bitter sroma of dried fruits, caramel and malt with bready and yeasty traces, shy woody hops in the background; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, not overly soft; moderate bitter-sweet finish with - indeed - cellary aromas and a delicate alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Quite mediocre by franconian standards…

500ml Bottle - Dark amber with a small head. Caramel, marmalade, rye bread, aniseed and thyme in the aroma. Nicely balanced and slightly chewy taste with aniseed, orange, herbs, sultanas and rye bread detected.
