And again big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. BB 14.09.26. Mid yellow golden in the glass, slightly cloudy, nearly two finger white foamy head. Soft malty aroma, some caramel, apple fruity. Tastes the same, maybe some citrus elements. Little bit above average carbonated. Soft dry bitterness. Also not bad.

Big thank you to kappldav123 for this 0,5 l bottle. Clear deep golden in the glass and a more than two finger white foamy head. Grain and a lot of caramel on the nose. Taste is a balanced mix of grain, malt and caramel. Soft but present bitterness. Long lasting aftertaste. Little bit above average carbonated. Nice one.

Bottle from my last order from Landbierparadies. So sad they're closing. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts fine malty, more and more fresh hoppy notes, hints of lemon, some herbs as well. Mild bitterness. Finish well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice one!

Bottle from ly last order from Landbierparadies. So sad they're closing. Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts fine malty, wheaty-spicy, light sweetish hints. Grasy notes as well. Finish well balanced. Nice!

Bottle from Rewe Bamberg and drunk with Nelson. Clear deep amber light brown colour. Lasting beige head. Some malt. Some hop on the end. Little hazy. A little caramel flavour. Decent brown beer. OK.

Friedel-Bräu Kellerbier, Flasche vom Landbierparadies24. - Rotgold, leicht trüb. - In der Nase schön fränkische, leicht bissig hopfenwürzige und herbale Hopfung mit Orangeat und deutlicher Butter über fein karamelligem Malz, rustikal aber reizvoll. - Antrunk satt karamelmalzig mit toastigen Zügen, tiefer Malzsüße und deutlicher Butter, die durch leicht ländliche hopfenwürzige und orangenfruchtige Hopfung in Schach gehalten wird. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang sauber malzbitter und solide fränkisch hopfenherb. - Leicht rustikales, nicht ganz rundes aber gerade deshalb reizvolles Frankenlager, das von Körper und Aromatik her schon in Richtung Märzen geht. Eine frühere (2015) Bewertung, in der ich muffige und dumpf bittere Züge gerügt habe, kann ich nicht aufrechterhalten. (Neubewertung: 21.7.2024.)

Das Landbier von Friedel-Bräu, Zentbechhofen (von Märzen ist nirgends die Rede), Flasche per Post vom Landbierparadies (ohne das ich nur schwer an solche Köstlichkeiten käme und dem dafür an dieser Stelle ein dickes Lob abgestattet sei). - Kupfergoldbraun, klar. - In der Nase solides gerstig-karamelliges Malz mit feiner Sahnebonbonsüße, milde aber gediegene herbale Hopfung, deutliche Butter. - Antrunk solide gerstig malzig und fein karamellig-würzig aber erfreulich wenig süß. Die leise Butternote stört nicht. Solide herbale und orangenbittere Hopfung, wie sie zu einem Frankenlager paßt. Milder rezent, vollmundig. Im Abgang entfaltet sich doch noch ganz beträchtliche Hopfenherbe. - Sauberes Frankenlager. (5.4.2024.)
