375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is loaded with dark red grape skins, followed by a nice bugginess, and some tannins. Flavour follows as expected, with a really nice dark red grape pomace character, plenty of vinous oakiness, some bugs, and light grape juice to add just a touch of residual sweetness. Really great wine/beer hybrid, with a buggy, tannic, and grape musty finish. Excellent.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy dark red with a medium pinkish white head. Aroma is fairly acidic, with plenty of grape skins, lots of acidity, and some acetone. Flavour is much more integrated, with lots of pronounced red grape skins, medium acidity, and light oak. Intense grapes, gentle acidity, with plenty of bugs. Lovely stuff.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma is tart, with lots of leather, funky bugginess, dark fruits and a hint of smoke. Flavour is complex, with leather, some burnt notes, smoked squash, and bugs. Nicely acidic, with a smoky, leathery, and oaky finish. It gets vinegary/acetic after a while. Interesting—I'm down with this, but it's not that easy to drink.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of funk, orange peel, lemon, wheat, chalk, coriander. Pours hazy golden with a two finger off-white head with excellent retention. Taste is lightly to moderately sour (6/10), funky, finishing dry with funky witbier flavors. The honey really comes through in flavor as well. Impressive and creative take on the style.
