Keg at the brewery. Near black, large creamy tan head good retention. Aroma of crayons and roast. Taste is roast, chocolate, caramel. Medium-full bodied. Quite nice, surprisingly.

Sampled from the tap at the brewpub. Pours a clear amber with a tan head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has sweet grains, caramel, grass and a touch of booze. Flavor is a bit more thin with sweet grains, grass and caramel.

Amber color. Light malt and a surprisingly thick palate, and it is sweet, much sweeter than I anticipated. No real complexity to mention, just a sweet Irish ale. On draught at Dubh Linn brewpub.

Black of course, but it does not look as good as a properly poured Guinness. Lightly roasted malt, and I am tasting a lactic character that I don’t really care for, as well as light smoke, which is is good.
