Description
We are small, but not in our sense of possibilities. We are lofty in our goals of what we want from our hop-forward beer. It is this heritage of hard work and craft that we want to continue and pass down to our kids. We just want to win the hearts and palates of discerning beer drinkers all over.

On tap at Civil Society - Jupiter, pours an opaque peachy orange with a small white head. Aroma is fairly juicy, with gentle hop tang and some yeastiness. Flavour is somewhat juicy but there's a lot of stone fruit pith, gentle hop tang from the Nelson, and light allium. Not as egregious as some hazies but still not with the clarity I want.

On tap at Civil Society - Jupiter, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma is chalk, with lots of hopburn and the usual hazy nonsense. Flavour is much the same, but it does also reveal the tanginess from the NZ hops. Good hop expression masked by the murky, sludgy base that just doesn't do the hops justice. A shame. How is this popular?

On tap at Civil Society - Jupiter, pours jet black with a small tan head. Aroma is intense, with lots of rum, coconut, brandy and heaps of marshmallow. Flavour is exceedingly rich and complex, with a cohesive mix of rum, brandy and bourbon, with plenty of coconut and marshmallow in there. Surprisingly cohesive and easy to drink considering the gravity and intensity of the flavours. It's pretty cohesive. Silky, oily, low carb on the palate. Very good in small amounts.

On tap at Civil Society - Jupiter, pours a cloudy bright golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is full of marshmallow and passionfruit upfront, with a hint of coconut and plenty of citrus pith. Flavour is quite citric, with plenty of tart, citrusy passionfruit, softened by the marshmallow and a touch of coconut. The Berliner is lost behind the adjuncts, turning this into a very fruited, gimmicky sour like so many others. It's fine.
