Description
We are small, but not in our sense of possibilities. We are lofty in our goals of what we want from our hop-forward beer. It is this heritage of hard work and craft that we want to continue and pass down to our kids. We just want to win the hearts and palates of discerning beer drinkers all over.

Pint can pours with a clear gold body that supports a fairly tight white head of foam. The aroma offers up a sort of odd mix of hops creating notes of floral hops, some mango, a dash of citrus and then ending with a berry mildly Skittles like sensation. The taste delivers an intriguing blend of both bitter and softer flavour hops. I get a blend of citrus, soft mango and cantaloupe to start. It later picks up a bit of cantaloupe and berry like hoppiness. The intrigue continues into the finish as a fun modest cracker like sensation takes this into the finish and brief after taste. Fun beer.

Canned. Clear yellow pour. Citrus dime tropicalish notes and all that. Largely successful

Pint can - cloudy gold with a moderate lace - nose and flavor are heavily citric, with some underlying grassiness - moderately sweet, but with sufficient lemony tang and acidity to balance things out - finish is more grassy and herbal than citric - alcohol is well-masked - pretty well-done.

Pint can - turbid gold with a thick, soapy head - nose and flavor have a complex profile of herbal, piney, and citric hops - a fair amount of dankness and bitterness for a hazy, which I am totally here for - underlying flavors of pear and orange underneath a fairly complex bitterness and herbal character - pretty dry for the style, too, which I appreciate - nice.

Juicy fruity with a cross section of tropical and citrus fruit, sweet malty backbone, solid hoppy finish.

16 oz. can from the brewer. Thanks Ashley! Pours a semi-clear very dark bronze color with a khaki head and good retention. Good lacing. Light caramel malt aroma. Strong toasted caramel malt and sweet toffee flavors. Almost smokey. Definitely more of a Marzen versus a Festbier. The toasted edge keeps it from being too sweet. Super clean and smooth. Infinitely repeatable. 96/100. Delicious. --- Beer merged from original tick of Oktoberfest on 02 Nov 2024 at 00:14 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 9 | Texture - 10 | Overall - 9.5. From the P&M getränkmarkt, Troisdorf. Tasting and sharing it yesterday, at home, sharing it with my wife. A classical neipa, more mineral and dry tha others, poetic note of malt, oat, yeasty, fruity, tropical, bitter, citrus, always a pleasure. 21.12.24
