Hazy, though a bit dull. Thin head. The aroma is mostly orangey and not unlike other hazies. On the palate, it's got a decent hop bitterness. The base malts are a touch weak but okay. I'm not getting much herbal character, honestly, like okay orange zest is there but not sure I'm really getting much of anything else.

5 oz draft. Aroma is lightly botanical with soft apricot. The flavor is not as floral and botanical as the aroma. It is balanced. I liked it better then I thought I would. Because honestly, I haven’t had Jager Meister since my early 30’s.

Super hazy golden and straw coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall off-white and long-lasting head. Aroma of citrus, wheat, subdued sweetness from the fruits with a light hop bitterness,  but more of the citrus fruits than anything else. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and citrus flavours dominate with a lot of wheat and floral hop bitterness with some subdued malt and herbal characteristics that shows a very mild bitterness and some dry grainy notes as well. Aftertaste shows some citrus fruits like tangerines and pomelos with a lot of wheat and malt elements that give this a proper balance and structure that has some soft sugars at the tail end, but the hops remained muted throughout, hence 'super soft'. Overall, a strong and enjoyable beer that shows more of an APA than anything else, but is fairly easy-drinking, yet flavourful and leaves some nice sweetness on the end. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Giant in Alexandria (E Glebe/Potomac Yard),  Virginia on 02-October-2020 sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-October-2020.

Hazy pour. Citrus and vegetable flavor. I thought this beer would be different, maybe sweeter. It's almost like a basic IPA, which I love. Good beer.

Can drunk 7/26/23. Heavily hazy, bronze-maize-golden. White head slowly to ring. Floral, spicy, green, dank. Malts are deep and biscuity, dry. Really interesting fruity spice. Soft, juicy, but crackery. Spicy, strawberry, guava, yellow fruits.

Nothing about this beer really conjures up Jägermeister, save for the touch of licorice on the back end and a hint of ginger in the fade. Otherwise, a pretty straightforward NEIPA, wet grain, lots of stone fruit and papaya and chive, pretty standard save for the herbal flourish on the finish. Good, but for non-Jäger reasons.
