Can from Tavour. Pours very hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is very tropical - some pineapple. Med plus body - smooth carbonation helping that. It's juicy but not really sweet. Not very bitter either. Flavor is the thing here. Pineapple, melon, citrus - but not orange. Or grapefruit either. KInd of kumquat. But that's not it either. Good flavor.

From beerolution, canned in 2023, sharing this can with my wife, four days ago, at Epalinges. As usual, it was a good and fair neipa, rather sweet and syrupy with aroma on pineapple, tropical fruits, yeasty, bitter and citrus, well balanced.

Lys gul uklar med hvitt skum. Lukter grapefrukt og lys stenfrukt. Fruktig og bitter. Smaker grapefrukt, noe vanilje og barnål. Middels lang.

Balanced. Some bright hop notes up front with a clean, smooth finish.

Canned 11/7/25, drunk 1/29/26, as pictured.
Rich fudgey malt and adjunct giving a fair approximation of a samoa. Seems sweet, of course, perhaps not punishingly-so. Gooey raisin-coconut-caramel doesn't smell cheap or artificial. Surprisingly no alcohol noted.
Sweet and fudgey with loads of caramel and coconut. Cinnamon apparent but just tastefully. It's just on the threshold of being not too sweet. Probably another month or two and it will be much nicer. But as is, it's a fairly tasty pastry stout where the adjuncts do what they should without beating you to death. Lack of alcohol is well-done, too. Slightly syrupy.

16 ounce can from Tavour. Opaque black pour. Finger-high tan head. Big maple aroma dominates. Flavor is bold and roasty. Obvious notes of coffee, maple, chocolate and vanilla. Big, boozy notes. Thick, clinging mouthfeel. This is a big, bad brew. Not for the faint of heart.

Definitely taste the Malört, but also loads of dark chocolate. It’s a little bitter, very boozy, and a wild stout.
