Hard to tell in this image, but the blackish background color is actually a metallic green. Aromas are bread, caramel malt and toast. Flavors aren't quite as good, being dominated by sweet and a little of the other stuff. A bit of solvent in the finish. Kind of disappointed.

750mL bottle drunk 10/1/23. Thick, oily, no head. Holy hazelnut! And less so cacao. Toasty, dry, powdery. Certainly cuts the sweet malt but it's way, way overdone. Light bourbon character on the clean, not boozey finish. Drying cacao and hazelnut Up front as very warming, somewhat hot bourbon and alcohol build up. Thinning texture, lots of acid on the finish. Can't accuse it of being too sweet...

Bottle drunk 10/1/23. Chunky coconut in seemingly flat, viscous, dark liquid. Fruity coconut is strong but not overdone. The cinnamon is spicy but probably the most integrated I've seen in a stout, at least one this young. Soft, fudgey, rich, with light coffee, rich vanilla and rich bourbon. Cinnamon is so well done here with fruity coconut done well too. No booze. Sweet, quite so, though with just enough acidity. Juicy almost.

750mL bottle drunk 10/1/23. Dark, viscous, no head. Whew. That's not f-ing around. Big, big, bold, aggressive, mega peppery and liquory whiskey. Backing malts are ample, but it's pretty rich and stiff. In the mouth it's so much bourbon that it leaves a lightly burning pepper spiciness in the tongue in the finish. Rich, thick, syrupy, good attenuation. This reminds of the old school BA stout where the brewers had no idea how long to leave the beer in for and it came out tasting like a bottle of bourbon. So yeah...too much bourbon for this guy, but otherwise very well done, not sharp, not too sugary, etc...

Caramel color with a small white head that left good lacing. Toasty and semi sweet with maltiness and a hint of perfume. Medium finish and body.

Aromas are somewhat subdued citrus pith, with a little peach and melon. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, add in a little bit of weed and citrus comes out more. Kind of juicy. On the sweet side up front with a bitter finish. Carbonation leans soft.

Aromas are really fresh pine resin and some pale malt. Flavors are similar to nose, adding in some citrus with great balance between sweet, bitter and carbonation. Some MJ in the finish. Mouth filling beer that is satisfying. Very nice.

Aromas are fresh resin hops and dry grain. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, leaning slightly sweet but with good combination and bitter to balance. Add in citrus and a touch of pineapple. Easy drinking beer.

On tap at Centennial Crafted, pours black with a small brown head. Aroma brings out deep coffee notes, moderate roast and dark sugars. Flavour is rich, with intense coffee, dark dried fruits, roasted malt and a little caramel. A bit brutal and lacking elegance but has some nice flavours. Solid stuff.
