Portions of separate barrels are blended to enhance specific characteristics unique to each barrel. Every beer we release has been meticulously crafted from start to finish.

375 ml bottle. Pours a raspberry red with little head. Aromas of fresh raspberries, light vinous oak, a little funk, and mineral water. Bright, tart raspberry flavors with additional grapes, citrus and sharp wheat.

On tap at Strange Fellows, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out a nice blend of tequila barrels, lots of wild yeast and a touch of vinous character. Flavour has a lot of wild funky character, with some tequila and red wine barrels. Nicely funky and good use of the barrels. Very well-constructed.

Tasting at Brian's
Bright red, cloudy. Powerful aroma, fresh raspberries and rasperry jam, hint of vanilla. Smooth mouthfeel; sharp acidity but nicely balanced by the strong fruit presence; lemony in the end, with some astringency.
Very good.

Beautiful pink colour, This has a nice raspberry nose, with a bit of tartness, This has a lot of tartness, and a nice berry character. Quite tart and acidic, with a decent, bright berry note. I won't say that I get the barrels much, probably because of the acid sharpness.

375mL bottle, pours a murky bright pink with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of tart raspberries upfront, with a touch of red wine, oak and yeast. Flavour is super fruity, with lots of fresh, tart raspberries upfront, gentle and restrained oak barrels, and some wild character. Fruity, tart and oaky. The wonderful fruit character carries this.

Draft - Stone fruit and a touch of aspirin. Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Nice up front tartness with a clean light stone fruit finish. Pleasant and refreshing, but I don’t get any of the tequila notes which I would have liked.

Draught at Luppolo, Vancouver; 12oz
Cloudy blond color, shades of orange; initially it has a medium sized head, it reduces quite quickly. The aroma is dry, fruity (stone fruit), mildly funky and vinous, fart (sulfur?). Medium body structure; the mouthfeel is harsh dry, which highlights the sharp acidity; there's a mix of lemon zest, some apricot, hints of red wine, very light agave when you look for it; salty too. It has certain layers of complexity, although the finish, besides being tart and mildly astringent, is rather short.
Having paid 10$ for a glass, I can't rate this one lower.
A good blend, balanced, young and dynamic.

Draught @ Luppolo. Hazy, but lumenescent, straw-beige colour. Thick head that falls down to lace. The aroma is wood-forward, lightly vinous, showing bugs and lactic notes. On the palate, lactic tartness, tannic wood, hint of brett C, some funkier stuff that could be pedio. Sweet vinous and pale malt notes and if the cactus gods have left their mark anywhere it's an almost imperceptible “what is that?” sort of note. Thank goodness somebody in this town is making real, artful, skilled beer. Thank you, Tristan.
