Bottle from Beer52. Nice to get a Norn brewery that's new to me. It's a ruby-black brew with a thin beige head and a light but prickly fizz. Roasted barley up front, then cocoa, a little blackberry and a spicy kick before a very dry finish. Lasting chocolatey aftertaste. Not bad; I like the spice, and despite the dryness it's pretty smooth.
