On cask @ SRAF. Amber and decent head. Mainly toffee and orange on both nose and palate. It is medium bodied but the finish is too sweet for the style.

Third of a cask pint at the Scottish Real Ale Festival in Edinburgh’s Corn Exchange on 7th July 2017. Amber, off-white head. Citrus aroma and flavour, light malts try to balance the citrusy hops but fail. Not really my thing.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - properly opaque black with a lovely crema head. Nose - caramel and smoke. Some dark chocolate and molasses. Taste - very dark chocolate, like 200% cocoa. Molasses and light smoke or charcoal. Palate - close to medium bodied with dry middle section that continues through the finish. Overall - this is good. Nice complex session strength stout.

Bottle from the dregs run, cheers Craig, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours black with a bitty beige head. Aromas of light cocoa, dusty dark malts, smoke. Taste is light sweet, rich texture, crunchie bar. Faint roast. Decent for the strength.
