12/4/2018. Can from Honest Brew. Pours unclear dull golden orange with a short lasting off-white head. Aroma of oranges, hops, tropical fruits and a hint of chocolate orange. Quite sweet, with light bitterness. Moderate body, thin and slightly oily texture, soft carbonation. Some increase to bitterness in the finish. Nice aroma, but didn't quite deliver overall.

Pigs Ear. Cask. Opaque dark brown beer, bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and dry, modest fine carbonation. Dry roasty dark malts, thin too. Some dark fruits on the back end. Bitter roasty linger. Just another stout pt 426b.

Can from Honest Brew. Pours almost black with a small beige head. Aroma has a huge amount of ash, akin to a stale ashtray and not very pleasant. Takes a while for the roasted coffee and subtle vanilla to come through. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium to full bodied, slick texture, soft carbonation. Much too much ash for my liking.

Cask at Ship Mitre, Liverpool. Colour is golden with a white head. Aroma is tropical, lime and slightly earthy. Taste is fairly dry. Juicy tropical fruit body.

Keg @ Seven Brothers Beer House, Manchester. Cloudy pale amber-orange. A citrus ale, but light in this respect, however quite active in the palate. There's some orange fruit. Has a slightly dirty-fruity nose.

Keg @ Sportsman, Huddersfield. Very hazy blonde with full citrus heavy tropical fruits in both aroma and taste. Its strength is not overly apparent in its taste.

Keg @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Black with a thin off-white head. Has a dryish but stated coffee flavour with a crispness that masks its strength.

Smooth rich orange and ripe mango. Touch of ripe pineapple. Good smooth cooling pine. Just a slight pinch of hop spice. Smooth finish. Nicely integrated and very drinkable. 3.8
