Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.

A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.

Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.

Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Cask at Ryrie's. Pours clear amber with a thick cream-coloured head. Aromas of light tropical fruit and peach. Taste adds some pineapple notes. Medium bitter finish.

Aroma: citrusy malts, grains, dough, stone fruits and grass. Taste: pale floral malts and citrusy hops. Refreshing. Next one please!

Cask @ Pierhead Tavern. Cloudy, muddy amber with a full head. Dull nose, malt, caramel, pine notes, light tropical fruits. Very light fruit flavor, toast, pine, strong bitterness. Ok. Not very Hawaiian, and not sure what they are aiming at really.

On cask at Ryries. Appearance - golden amber and fairly clear. Slight off-white and very creamy head. Nose - floral, citrus and tropical. Taste - orange, apricot, melon and mango. Palate - medium bodied, almost, with a creamy middle and a balanced finish and linger. Overall - good stuff. Beer of the evening!
