Description
Loch Lomond Brewery started life in our kitchen in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond.
β
A desire to brew beer and create a family business that would allow the whole family to get involved we started in 2011 in Alexandria.
Now having brewed a number of award winning beers including CAMRA Champion Beer of Scotland in 2017 and SIBA Supreme Cask Champion of the UK in 2016, we have recently rebranded to include a number of new beers in cask, keg, bottle and can.
Still brewing on our original 10bbl kit our passion has not faded - in fact we are probably more fanatical now about our existing beers and new recipes than ever before.

Forholdsvis lesbare notater fra Γ₯rets GBBF. Fra cask delt med Steven: klar gylden med fint skum som varer. Slank men saftig og myk med honning, appelsinmarmelade og et hint av urter og aprikos. Rather moreish .

Keg at BD Shepherds Boost, 28/07/23. New record ... just over 9 months after Collabfest! Moderately hazed raspberry red topped with a crimson cap. Nose is sharp red berries, light herb, berry pips, damp straw. Taste comprises tangy berries, bramble berry, blackcurrant yoghurt, light acidic bite, grains, hedgerow. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering spike. Solid sour ... comes in well below the stated ABV.

440ml cab from Lidl I presume and enjoyed on my sofa in Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy off-white head. The aroma is dark malts and piney hops. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a crisp, malt, piney, mineral, earthy, light citrus, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not bad at all.
