Keg at the Cold Town taproom, Edinburgh, 24/02/23. Clear golden with a good sized lasting white cap. Nose is toasted malts, grains, grass, hit of lemon, cereals. Taste comprises pale malts, grass, hedgerow, straw, cereals. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. So so lager ... rather cold and bland.

Keg at the Cold Town taproom, Edinburgh, 24/02/23. Clear golden to light amber with a good sized just off white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is pale malts, grass, melon, tangerine. Taste comprises orange zest, airy malts, citric tinged straw, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow grassy hop bitterness. A rather basic and simplistic affair.

330ml can from Morrisons, Redcar. Clear golden colour white foam head and aroma of citrus, fruity, vegetal. Taste is sweetish, malty, mellow citrus, fruity hop with some bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

On keg at Meggetland sports centre - cloudy yellow body with a solid white head. Nose is fresh and grassy with a light watery citrus touch. Taste grows on you, it's not bad.

Can from Irma. Appearance - rose to iron bru with a quickly disappearing head. Nose - light raspberry and general creaminess. Taste - creamy raspberry going into strawberry. Palate - light bodied and very light sourness. Overall - OK.

Can from Lidl or Aldi. It pours clear golden - amber with a small, frothy white head. The aroma is fairly subued, soft, jammy red berry, raspberry, tangy, vanilla, shortbread and grain. The taste is dryish, grain, bitter - sweet, soapy/floral, biscuit, vanilla yoghurt, lactose and not so much jammy berry on the taste with a drying finish. Average body and fine carbonation. Not as sweet as feared, but not really a lot to it. Meh.

Can from Aldi or Lidl. It pours clear pink - red with a small white head. The aroma is fairly muted, tangy, jammy raspberry, lactic, natural yoghurt and raspberry cheesecake. The taste is crisp, dry, sweet - sour, tangy, juicy red berry, sweet raspberry jammy, fairly soft and muted and a touch of natural yoghurt with a shott, dryish finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Simple raspberry sour. Drinks fine.
