Description
Founded in Summer 2018, Overtone Brewing Co. are progressively making a difference in the Scottish Craft beer scene and are being recognised globally, now exporting to 12 markets around the world.
Our adventure started with Bowei Wang, who's passion and hobby of home brewing led to the determination of owning his own brewery. He knows the influence great craft beer has when shared with friends, and that's exactly what we want Overtone to be.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy amber body with a few flecks floating beneath a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of mango, papaya and pineapple. Flavour of passionfruit and orange. Thin to medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. A good showcase of these two hops.

Keg at Shilling Brew Co. It pourslighy hazy golden. With a decent white head. The aroma is bit of citrus, grassy, grainy, brioche, cake, hay and a bit of spice. The taste is firmly dry, light bitterness, grassy, straw, twist of citrus, spice and slightly soapy with a dry, grassy finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Not a huge amount of clarity. Ho hum.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nicely proportioned. Nose - really earthy, soy sauce. Taste - praline and blackberry compote. Weird but good. Like blackberry laces if such a thing exists. The fruits and chocolate at the finish. Palate - medium bodied at least. Tangy bit fresh through the middle and finish. Overall - lovely stuff.
