50cl bottle thanks to the brewery. Pours a honey colour with a thin layer of lace. The nose has grassy and grainy notes with just a hit of citrus zest. The taste has lemon zest again with a nice grain background. The palate is light to medium bodied with a nice tangy texture and a clean refreshing finish. Overall, this is in between a pale ale and a bitter and is a good session pint - the sort that people in the local area should lap up but it’s not world beating.

Aroma - light pale malt, cereal, faint fruits
Taste - soft sweet fruit malt, soft cereal malt, easy drinking, simple
Palate - soft carb, thin body. Finish of soft light fruit malt is rapid but there is a soft linger of some light bitter cereal
Overall - Easy going golden ale. OK

Aroma - cereals, bit metallic. hay, rather rough
Taste - cereal malts, pale caramel, quite a lot of pale weetabix malts, spicy hops, cracker biscuits, bit unusual but quite a lot of flavour in there for 4%
Palate - soft carb. medium body, smooth, light bitter cereal palate. Finish - slightly harsh cereal pale malts - hint of metal on the tail
Overall - Not a bad bitter, bit unusual and rough round the edges

Cask at Carpenter’s Arms, Windsor. It pours clear amber, with a medium white head. The nose is biscuit, orange, apricot, lemony soap, hay and a touch of manure. The taste is grass, biscuit, juicy tropical fruit (mango, orange and apricot), dough and hay, with a bitter, slightly citric finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Above average bitter with some nice tropical fruit notes.
