0.33 l bottle from 'Holy Craft Beer Store', best before November 2022. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly malty, moderately fruity-floral aroma of honey, dried apricot and some quince. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly fruity-floral taste of honey, lemon peel, some dried apricot and light straw, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very well-balanced, easily drinkable Heller Bock, not too sweet and nicely hoppy but still quite classic.

Bottle: Deep golden to copper coloured, hazy, smaller stable white head, moderate sweet-bitter fruity-malty aroma with yeasty-worty traces, piney hops and a little booze in the nose; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium to full bodied, a bit tart; slightly lingering sweet malty finish with returning worty traces and a delicate bitterness in the aftertaste. On tap at Holy Craft, Düsseldorf, Tuesday 23rd May 2022. Pours clear amber with a white head. Soft moutheel, malty, caramel with a creamy vanilla touch. moving back to malty again. Fine without really exciting me.
