(bottle, 33cl) Clear, amber to copper colour with a short and slightly tanned foamy head. Bready and slightly toasted malty aroma with loads of caramel/toffee and notes of candied fruits and marzipan. Sweet and delicately bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Toffee-ish malt character with mildly toasted notes and hints of condensed milk (Milchmädchen) towards the slim, moderately sweet and restrained bitter finish. Likeable, unfortunately a tad slim. 21.VIII.16

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a blond and firm mid-sized foamy head. Slightly buttery and subtle fruity malty aroma with notes of draff and shades of hopy spice in the background. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crisp carbonation. Slightly bready malty taste with shades of caramel and shy notes of herbal hops; a bit slim, nevertheless a tad sticky malty and delicately bitter hoppy finish. Not really exciting. 21.VIII.16

Trocken herber Antrunk mit fruchtigen und leicht holzigen Komponenten. Hinten heraus schwächer, mit der Zeit allerdings angenehmer, rund, süffig. Runde Herbe. 8/8/9/9//9

Bottle. Amber color with fine-bubbled tan head. Aroma has some undefinable fruitiness, similar to their Lager hell, nice caramel maltiness as well. Taste is caramely, hints of liquorice, a very nice showcase of amber malts, quite mineralic with a light tartness and sweetness. Dry mouthfeel. Good!

Bottle. Pretty deep Amber, golden lace. Honeyish malt, light spice. Licorice on the palate, toasted malt, herbal hops, a light rural note, acid on the tongue. Chewy medium light body. Interesting malt forward brew.

Bottle (will need to sort out if this is the same as TUM/Weihenstephaner Isar Kindl). Golden color with big white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, malt sweetness, something undescribable in there. Taste is malty, a bit green, crisp, fruity in the finish. Not excellent, but definitely untypical. But it’s not clean enough to be a great Helles and not weird enough to be something different.

Bottle. Golden, light off-white lace. Hayish malt, light esters, a hint barn, herbal hops, slightly green.medium light body. Mealy aftertaste with some noble hops peeking through, a hint raspberry in the end. Not clean enough to be a typical Helles, not weird enough to set itself apart.
