(swing top bottle) Hazy, yellow colour with a big and blond foamy head. Yeasty grainy malty aroma with citric and slightly herbal hops, accompanied by a touch of barnyard. Sweet and slightly bitter flavour, rather light bodied with a present carbonation. Grainy pale malt-character with a yeasty and subtle fruity touch; medium-dry grainy and milky sweet-bitter and slightly hoppy finish. A tad sweet but easy to drink. 14.XI.10

Bottled. A golden beer with a thick white head. The aroma has strong notes of sweet malt - but also with notes of artificial sweetener - wonder where that comes from. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of straw, and still an artificial shine over it. The body is light.

Cloudy. Dark straw. A lighter, fruitier take on the style. Fresh, good pale malt character. Has a subtle herbal hop note.

Draught at the brewpub: Hazy, amber coloured, stable creamy off-white head; dry dark-malty, a bit toasty nose with herbal-hoppy undertones and a light barnyardy touch; light bodied, moderate bitter-sweet flavour; lingering aromatic bitter-nutty finish. Well balanced, typical franconian stuff.........
