The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. The beer starts modest dry, good use of hops, the finish becomes more and more sourish, also a bit moldy. Not so good.

Bottle, Picked up from the Dodgi’ Deli’ Cowley Road, Oxford 24-04-08 Amber in colour with large white fluffy head, yeast, spice, banana and cloves on the nose lovely aroma. The taste is quite full flavoured, again the aforementioned usual suspects come to the fore and combine very well to give a lovely fruity beer, I like this and was quite surprised to find a beer like this at the Dodgi’ Deli’.

50 cL bottle, comes as Kloster Weisse Dunkel and 5.1%. Pours slight hazy to cloudy brown with a huge light tan head. Aroma of a mild roasted malt note in addition to a weak acidic wheat note. Flavour holds mild roasted malt with an underlying light acidic wheat note. Lingering malty finish in which the wheat really compliments the roasted malt acidity well. Nice one.

50 cL bottle. Pours almost golden dark brown with a little reddish hue. Diminished tan head. Roasted malt and corn aroma, vague chocolate like note. Flavour is medium sweet with a solid roasted malt base going into a distinct acidic touch. Nice lingering almost breadish finish yet it stays light acidic and dry. Nice one.

50 cL bottle. Pours cloudy yellow to orange with a lasting, dense and white head. Vague wheaty and banana fruity aroma. Flavour is light fruity, notes beyond banana, and with a medium sweet estery lingering touch. Goes into a dry wheaty finish. Somewhat more rustique.

Bottle (courtesy of joss): Hazy, visible carbonation, small, but stable foamy layer; sweet-malty (barley) nose with a discreet lemony fruitiness, illusions of turpentine and a light tartness, too; light to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, a bit fizzy; short, a bit tart, mainly malty-bitter finish. O.K., a drinkable Weizen with a lot of "Lager" influences..........

Bottle picked up from Dodgy Deli’ Cowley Road, Oxford tasted much more like a Helles than the Augustiner that I had earlier. Golden in colour, white foamy head. Malt and grains in the aroma, soft tasting, some sweetness, easy drinking, malts quite pronounced tasty.
