Bottle from Lekkerbier, Sint Nicolaasga. Aroma is soy sauce, dark chocolate, roasted malt, coffee, touch of liquorice, molasses, caramel. Flavour is sweet with a mild bitterness and some alcohol. Full body. Very good.

Bottle. Pitch black, no real head, just tiny beige ring. Initially strong boozy nose, whisky. Later malty presence develops with biscuits, chocolate, slight black currant. Soft taste, mild sweetness, hints of bitterness, no alcohol, just a pleasant warm breeze. Slight spices in the end. Mild aftertaste. Fuller body, oily and silky. Actually pretty nice.

A black beer with a tan head. Aroma of very sweet strong dark malt, chocolate, maple syrup. Taste of sweet chocolate, coffee, some maple syrup, strong and sticky finish.
