Der schwarze Zirkusbär macht seinem Namen alle Ehre. Zu den röstmalzigen Dunkelschoko-Aromen kommt ein getreidiger Hafergeschmack, der schon ans Frühstücksmüsli erinnert. Auch eine gewisse Teigigkeit mag ich auszumachen, die nicht ganz reinpasst. Ein wohl bemühtes Bier, das aber noch nicht ganz ausgereift ist

RB backlog, CBF 11/18. Special Edition with Cocoa & Cardamom. Toasty, licorice, spices, leather, soapy cardamon. Medium sweet start, mineralic, a bit watery and some tart notes. Slick body, natural carbonation.

Es ist ein recht einfaches Bier. Der Bierstil Pale Ale ist von Haus aus nicht allzu besonders und so ist auch dieses Bier. Es ist recht nett süffig und hat einen angenehm hopfigen Körper, prägt sich aber nicht ins Gedächtnis ein.

Craft bier fest Vienna. Cloudy orange golden color with minimal white head. Aroma of sour fruits, earthy notes. Distinct sour taste with some spices, earthy notes. Good.

Leicht eingetrübte, dunkelgelbe Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Hopfiger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich getreidig, hopfig, fruchtig mit Citrus und Grapefruit. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, mittlerer Körper mit sanfter Kohlensäure. Fehlaromen konnte ich bei diesem Exemplar keine erkennen, wirklich spannend war dieses Bier aber auch nicht.

0,1l from tap shared at Craft Bier Fest Wien. black color, very small off white head. smells strong of spices, light ginger, cardamon, earthy, peppery, bit leathery. rather intense smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of cocoa, spices, cardamon, light nutmeg, peppery, earthy, some cocoa. finishes lightly roasty bitter with notes of spices, cocoa and peppery notes. good stuff, lovely taste, the spices get backed up by the cocoa, smell was a bit too much spices, but overall very nice one, great to drink. 6, 4, 8, 4, 16

Bottle at home, 05/11/18, thanks to a Euroswap with Geiserich. Hazed golden amber with a decent off white cap. Nose is bitter sweet citric peel, light vegetal notes, grass, sharp citrics. Taste comprises light acidic bite, tangy fruit, tarte and pissy, infected. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Meh.

0,33l bottle at home bought at Hopfenspinnerei, St. Pölten. BB (I think) 01.12.2018. dark yellow hazy color, small white head. smells peppery, marzipan, dill, bit sourish, some exotic fruits, earthy. ok smell, some off notes. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, spices, dill, peppery, hints of sourness, pickles, candy. finishes lightly sour with notes of dill, pepper and some earthy notes. beer unfortunatly has some issues, weird, will try to rerate.
