330 ml bottle, bottled 11.Mai 2017. Thanks to Werckmeister!
Orange, cloudy body, with a big, fluffy, lacing, off-white head.
Aroma of dough, grass, flowers, banana, sweet berries, red apples, lemongrass, spices, some herbs.
Tastes quite similar, with some more citric and sour fruit notes and subtle marzipan.
Medium, a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium dry, spicy, yeasty, subtly sweet, fruity, a bit bready, floral, a bit hoppy.

Very nice. Aromatic and diverse, with lots of yeasty, fruity and malty notes. Well balanced, with the right levels of sweetness, spiciness, dryness and even some refreshing sourness. Not the most unique style example, but a very solid, old-school Saison.

330 ml bottle from Klub Gru, bb
Like their other IPA I’ve had, quite a gusher again. Dark amber, almost cloudy body, with some floaties and a big, stable, frothy, lacing, yellowish head.
Aroma of tangerines, peach, fruit gum, perfume, slight soap.
Tastes quite similar, also quite sweet and thick, with some herbs and some more biscuit.
Medium,a bit oily mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes a bit warming, medium bitter, medium sweet, fruity, piney, a bit grassy.

Good. Feels unbalanced, too sweet and heavy, with lots of fruits, but in a slightly artificial, fruit gum way. Alcohol is also a bit noticeable in the finish. Although it isn’t that different, the 3.1 version of this IPA worked much better for me, this one isn’t really fresh to drink, while still not a bad beer.

330 ml bottle from Klub Gru, bottled May 1st 2017.
Dark brown body, with some floaties and a small, dense, coffee-colored head.
Aroma of coffee, cocoa, dark chocolate, toffee, some dark fruits, some liquorice, some vanilla.
Tastes similar, with a bit more coffee notes.
Full, creamy mouthfeel, with a moderate carbonation.
Finishes roasty-bitter, medium dry, a bit toasty, subtle warm, with coffee, liquorice, some cocoa

Tasty. Smooth and creamy, with lots of lovely coffee notes and some sweetness from the cocoa, which isn’t that obvious though. Well balanced overall, alcohol is greatly hidden. Among the best style example from Austria I’ve had.

May 2017. black color, small coffee colored head. smells earthy, coffee, light ash, light bitter herbal, very light caramel, hints of exotic fruits, very light berry notes. very nice smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes earthy, light caramel, ash, light oxidation, bit grassy, some exotic fruits, bit ashy, lightly citric. finishes lightly dry and lightly roasty with notes of earthy, bit citric, and light ash. very nice one good to drink, good complexity, just balance I am not 100% convinced but overall still very very nice one. overall liked the regular version a bit more.
