0,5l bottle at home bought at Craft Beer Fest Wien from the brewery. BB 16.03.2015. almost black color, small off-white head. smells of flour, caramel, lightly herbal, nettle, bread, light fruit notes. quite subtle and rather average smell. medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes of ripe fruits, caramel, licorice, some spices, bitter herbs again, nettle, lightly breadish. finishes lightly sweet, some caramel and bitter herbs. overall decent and drinkable but not too special. First rating: 2.6
bottle at Fassdippler. dark brown color, looks filtered. no head at all, not even some bubbles. smells light fruity, light burned, light smoked. medium body, tastes bready, flat carbonation, grainy, fruity, malty, slight sweetness, very lightly smoked, kinda weird, not very tasty, leaves no head and lacing probably some problem with the bottle, tastes a bit like a flat dunkles, might give this a rerate. Tap at Beerstore Vienna. Goldne color with medium white head. Malty aroma with wort, yeast. Taste, malt, honey, sugar, yeast, grassy hops. OK.

Tap. Aroma sweetish and yeasty. Clear golden colour. Clean yeasty basement in taste, also some honeyish malt. Very simple, clean, drinkable. Overall good, though not my favourite style.

redish color, filtered. fruity, fresh smell. i detect cherries, smells almost like syrup. subtle malt aromas. medium to full body. subtle sweetness. alcohol almost not detectable.

Bottle. Dark copper body, with a big, creamy, beige head, that leaves a thick lacing. Aroma of roast, berries, grains, caramel. Taste is smooth, with caramel, red berries, roast and grass. Mouthfeel is medium to light, with a low carbonation and it finishes slightly roasty and slightly fruity-sour. Nice. Easy to drink and with a nice fruitiness. A bit light bodied though.

Bottle bought at Craft Bier Fest Wien. Orange, hazy body, with a medium, creamy, white head. Interesting aroma of slightly sour red berries, citrus, peach, some melon. Taste with the same aromas, also some honey and slight biscuit notes. Mouthfeel is medium, oily to creamy, with a medium carbonation and it finishes moderate bitter and very fruity. Great! Refreshing, crisp, greatly balanced and with a lovely, distinct hop profile with dominant berry notes. One of the best APAs from Austria I’ve had so far!

Bottle from Craft Bier Fest Wien. Orange, hazy body, with a big, frothy, white head, that leaves a thick lacing. Aroma of grains, earth, must, grass, honey. Tastes of must, grains, earth, honey. Mouthfeel is full, oily, with a medium carbonation and it finishes moderate bitter, musty, slightly sour. Interesting, filling beer, with lots of earthy, musty notes. Really enjoyable!

330ml Flasche. Ins Glas ergießt sich ein sehr dunkelbraunes fast schwarzes Bier mit schöner beigen Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Kaffee, schokoladig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, schokoladig, Kaffeebohnen.

Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, bitter. Geschmack röstmalzig, leicht schokoladig, würzig bitterer Abgang.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes goldgelbes Bier mit geringer Schaumkrone. Geruch malzig herb, grasig. Geschmack herb, malzig, grasig.
