The Royal Wedding Prince Charles & Lady Diana Spencer 29 July 1981 Ergo seriously aged. Small, but indeed a whitish head, slowly reduced to rim over clear orangey-amber beer. Oxyde, old bread, old nuts, fruitcake, biscuit, walnuts. Nutty, bready, hint of yeast and of course oxydation. Condensed milk, double cream with walnuts/walnutpeel. Tannines, liquorice. Medium bodied. Aftertaste is sweeter. Lost much of its carbonation. Amusing, and no, this is not a joke. We dug up this marvel from the cellar of Stef. No doubt it was better in its days (I tried it long ago, aged 6 years), but it still kept remarkably well.

175 ml bottle, 1992 vintage, shared by ClarkVV--thanks Clark for unearthing this baby! A turbid dark brown. Aroma is strong earthy roasted malt, molasses, tart apple. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, fairly thick, soft carbonation. No sign of alcohol. Enjoyable and amazing it was this good after 31 years!

170 ml bottle shared by ClarkVV. 1992 vintage. Aroma is soy sauce, chocolate, and old fig. The amazing thing is it still is drinkable. Not offended at all. Chocolate, dried fig, soy sauce. Actually much more drinkable then I imagined.

1992 bottle drunk 11/11/23. Clear dark ruby-tinted-mahogany. Small ring of tan bubbles. Fruity, ashen, prune, leathery, lots of dark berries. Oxidized though not horrendously so. Soft, watery, ash, char, berries, oxidation, some vanilla and caramel. Maybe a bit past it's prime ;)
