Fra cask på The Grosvenor i Hindon, på vei mot Forches sammen med Steven: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer helt frem. Grapefrukt, furunål, høy og bitre urter. Bitterheten henger igjen lenge. Ikke særlig juicy.

Keg at Brewdoge Clerkenwell, 21/08/24. Moderate haze on a golden orange pour topped with an off white crown that lasts well. Nose is mellow tropical fruit esters, orange peel, melon. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, tangerine, melon, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spattered with mellow light juicy hop bitterness. Okay pale if a little pedestrian feeling at times.

Tap at Deacons, Salisbury. Aroma is low key. Grainy. Light stone fruit. Somewhat opaque amber. Thin translucent white head. Light bitter. Tangy. Slightly resinous. Grains. Fruit. Light. Thin. Soft carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Odd stuff. Makes it's presence known but not much going on.

Tap at Deacons, Salisbury. Aroma is grainy, citrusy. Clear light gold. Frothy foamy white head. Flava matches aroma- citrusy with grains and malts. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Says lager on tap but presumably a Pils. Not too shabby.

Cask at Deacons, Salisbury. Aroma is malty with light spice. Clear dull gold. Blotchy foamy white head. Medium-heavy bitter. Quinine and herbs. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Old school bitterness. They call it a Pale Ale and a Golden Ale so the brewery themselves are confused.
