Bottle from Meibier. Clear blond colour, white foam. Nose of sweet malts, some herbs. Rather sweet pilsner with crispy hoppy finish.

Bottle from Frank. Many thanks! Clear golden colour, white foam. Lots of carbonation. Malty, light hoppy, some grassy and citrussy notes. Good but too much carbonation.

Sehr angenehmes Rauchbier. Schon in der Nase sehr charismatisch, im Trunk dann die bekannte Schinkennote. Dabei aber sehr zurückhaltend. Schön für Raucheinsteiger, passt.

Bottle. Clear golden color with white head. Aroma is cereals, juicy fruits, a bit grainy. Taste is the same, on the heavier side of Vollbier. Quite chewy. Mineraly bite, sparkly carbonation. Not bad!

Brauerei Wagner Kemmern Vollbier, Flasche von Getränke Kistner, FO. - Satt goldgelb, klar; pilstypisch üppiger Schaum. - In der Nase feine zitronige und grasige Hopfung, aromatischer als üblich aber doch rund, über zartem hellen Malz mit Vanillesüße. - Antrunk weich hellmalzig mit aromatischer aber wenig bitterer zitroniger Hopfung. Der Hallertauer Hopfen entfaltet seinen verhaltenen Reiz mit feinen Anklängen an Melone, Fenchel und Heu. Zart brotig, fein vanillesüß. Milder rezent, eher vollmundig. Im Abgang feine zitrusfruchtig-herbale Herbe. - Voller und runder als ein Pilsner und etwas aromatischer (aber keineswegs aufdringlich) gehopft als ein durchschnittliches Helles. Als Märzen würde ich es nicht bezeichnen, aber sei's drum. (2.9.2021.)
