Description
Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

Pitch black colour, oily, this has absolutely no head. Strong arom aof chocolate, there is some rancid coconut. This is the richest sweet chocolate flavour ever, it's syrupy, with complement of mixed nuts, coconut.
This beer is not about complexity or grace, it's about syrupy chocolate. Amazing, oh well…

22oz bottle pours out black topped with a small brown head. Nose is sweet chocolate maple syrup coffee big bourbon barrel vanilla cream. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate bourbon barrel vanilla wow sweet sweet maple syrup and a coffee touch. This is very nice, a challenge if you are doing the whole bottle solo.

650ml bottle. Sweet, stingy and heavy with some coffee, toffee, granola, cocoa, earthiness and stuffy notes. A bit too stingy, not as balanced as other Horus beers.
