Description
Horus Aged Ales is a 100% barrel aged brewery located in Oceanside, California. We believe in pushing the boundaries on how much beer can evolve through resting in oak by using a variety of different wine and spirit barrels, adding exotic fruits, and fermenting spontaneously. The complexity of the beer portrays our passion for experimentation and patience required to produce such a unique beverage. Horus has been a decade long dream that is finally coming true and we look forward to introducing our exclusive beer to the fine people of San Diego County.

Can at Paragon, 10/11/19.  Hazy yellowish color, fizzy head that quickly tons to a ring of white, mild lace. Bright, fruity aroma. Orange, lemon, grass. Bright pine notes as well. Flavorful stuff.

Sampled at 3 Sons Lumberjack Day 2019. Pours darker, unclear blonde; Smell is full, bit berries. tart. Taste is full, tart, mild on the berries. Bit malty ( dough ) , nice beer in general. only had 2 other cloudberrie sours ( as far as I remember ), and though both were better ( more intense on the fruits ) this beer is certainly something i'd drink again !

16 oz. can, pours an opaque bright yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of pithy stone fruit, with dank hops, and biscuity malt. Flavour is fairly sweet, with dank dry hops, some citrus, stone fruit pith, and fruity sweetness. Bright and fruity. This is very nice.
