Bottle, danke Günther. Pretty amber, huuuuge golden foam. Bready and hayish farty roast, light seaweed aroma. Medium full chewy, mellow soft mouthfeel. Landbrot, clay, farm, seashells, grainy sweetness, pleasant, rustic, moreish.

Bottle. Unclear reddish-amber color with creamy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, bready, wholegrain, rustic earthiness, slightly nutty. Taste is nutty, bready, earthy, light toffee, light juicy malts, Fruchtgummi, super soft drinkability. Super velvety mouthfeel with soft natural carbonation. Malt grains in the aftertaste. A rustic beer with character, I like!

“Kaiser Bockbier“, Flasche (50 cl) von Hopfen & Malz, Berlin-Wedding (das erste Bier in meiner neuen Wohnung in Berlin). - Tief goldbraun, klar, üppiger Schaum. - Nase Bockbier-untypisch mild toastmalzig mit dezenter krautiger Herbe. - Antrunk füllig toastmalzig mit hopfenwürziger Herbe, etwas Orangenmarmelade, perfekt auf die beträchtliche aber nirgends dominierende Restsüße abgestimmt. Vollmundig aber nicht breit, angenehm mineralisch. Im Abgang ein klein wenig harsch - hier verrät sich kurz der Hopfenextrakt, freilich nicht in störender Weise. - Ausgezeichneter, tiefgründig aromatischer und dabei runder fränkischer “roter“ Bock. Flasche (50 cl) vom REWE Burgebrach. - Goldgelb, klar. - Nase ein wenig dicklich (für ein Pilsener) hellmalzig mit etwas unschönen Hopfenextrakt-Noten. - Antrunk fein hellmalzig und leicht süßlich (Weißbrot) mit eleganter grasiger Herbe, die das Malz geschickt kontrapunktiert. Etwas milder rezent, sehr saftig. Im Abgang nicht besonders kräftige aber elegante, hintergründige Hopfenherbe. Trocken-herber Ausklang, dem man den Hopfenextrakt fast nicht mehr anmerkt. - Sehr schönes, leckeres Pils süddeutsch-fränkischer Machart, rund und elegant.

Hell hefiger, leicht bananiger Antrunk. Geringe Bitterkeit, ab dem Mittelteil insgesamt laffer. Trocken herb-hefig, langer Nachhall, ohne dass dieser etwas mitzuteilen hätte, herb, wenig aromatisch. Okay. 13/10/9/8//9

Tap at Moe’s. Cloudy golden with a fine, pillowy head. Bready nose, grassy, herbal hops. Malty, some dough, touch of dms, lemon, herbs. Decent, not perfect condition.
