Poured from the tap. Pitch black with tan head. Chocolate and malt with mild bitter coffee finish.

On tap at Botanica Wine & Beer Garden, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out floral notes and light biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with floral notes and biscuity malt. Clean and floral on the finish. Decent.

Tap @ Smith Street Taps, Chinatown Complex. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, chocolate, coffee, caramel and hops. Nice roasty finish.

Tap @ Smith Street Taps, Chinatown Complex. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are wheat malt, fruits, hops, flowers and has a nice bitter finish.

Bottle at The Good Beer Company, Singapore. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a thin broken white head. The aroma is juicy tropical fruits. The flavour is moderate sweet, light bitter with a fresh crisp, tart citrus, light pepper spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home. Hazy straw yellow pour - slightly dull. Aroma is yeasty straw and almost herbal lemon peel. Taste is initially dry and bitter lemon peel then coriander spice and sweet malt to balance. Solid straightforward saison.

Bottle from Brewcraft at home after Jay bday boat. Hazy bright straw yellow with foamy white head. Aroma is tropical fruit - mango and pineapple - with some yeasty straw funk. Taste is similar, between an IPA and farmhouse ale, more on the IPA side. Smooth fine carbonation mixed with slightly richer palate. Lasting dry bitterness. Very nice.

The flavour is moderate to light bitter, light sour with a crisp, slightly light, dry, yeasty, tart citrus fruit palate. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Sounded great on the label but didn’t really live up to that initial promise.ter with a light watery, crisp, light citrus fruit, grainy mineral malt, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. The description of the beer on the label really had my mouth watering but once again it really didn’t live up to expectations. There are many other local beers that are better to unwind with at the end of a long day IMO.
