Many thanks to kappldav123 for this beer! The beer starts smooth and fresh. Nice bitter aroma till the mainpart, hints of grain, not too dry. The mainpart is bitter-fresh, easy to drink, but still deep, The nice intense bitter aftertaste (with hints of mint??) remains long on the tongue. Very nice.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this beer! I think last time I had this beer was 2002 in a student pub in Clausthal... long ago but I liked it quite well. The beer starts smooth and dry. A bit dusty on the tongue with a nice moderate bitterness coming in at the mainpart. Smooth due to the yeast, fresh and refreshing-bitter with hints of grain. The aftertaste is grainy-dry and quite bitter. Very nice (and tastes exactly as I remember it!).

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this beer! The beer starts malty but not too sweetish. Nice round with hints of roasted caramel. The mainpart is smooth malty, not too sweet but still not dry. But nice and highly drinkable. A nice smooth bitterness, quite moderate, fits in till the end and fits well to the malty body. Nice malty-dry-bitter aftertaste. Very interesting aroma-combination, but nice!

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass zippy, brownish, nice head. Starts mild, malty, light roasty. Dry-malty background. Finish mild, a bit moldy. Okay.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Danish Summer Gathering, TSODRBSG13 ].Clear light medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, pale malt, cardboard, citrus. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, cardboard, lime - citrus. Body is medium to light, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20130831]

Dark brown in the glass with a beige head. The nose is malt and sweet molasses. The beer starts sweet, but not too sweet. In the mainpart there comes a nice bitterness that fits in great. The beer gets dryer to the end, a bit like bitter "Blockmalz". The aftertaste is long, roasted caramel, Blockmalz, very dry-malty and molasses-sweet.
A nice, thirst-quencing and not too sweet Malzbier. I like that one! --> 13/12/10/11

Bottle at TSODRBSG 13. Golden-yellow colour with a white head. Aroma is citrus, malt, lime. Flavour is citrus, malt, lime, lemon. Boring beer.

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2013. Pours clear pale yellow with a white head. Dishwasher, hay and lime. Thin and artificial.
