Bottled. Brown colour with small but long lasting off-white head. Aroma is quite similar to the Klosterkrug, but has some wooden and mild earthcellary tones to it. Flavour is chocolate, sweet malts, some wood, caramel, ripe dark fruits and mild toffee and roast. If this has been in cognac barrels, it seems the wooden notes are what came off from it. No cognac tones atleast in my opinion.

Bottled. Reddish brown colour with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some spices (rosemary and some peppery notes), mild ryebready notes. Flavour is sweet malts, spices, some bready notes as well as quite much herbal notes. A bit messy.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a mediumsized beige head. Aroma is sweet malts, some caramel, spices and mild wooden notes. Flavour is sweet malts, some nutty and mild alcohol notes with some ripe fruitiness as well as some slight bitterness in the finish. Warming, but still nicely balanced. Good sipper, and probably would work with heavier meaty dishes as well.

Bottled. Brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild roasted notes, some slight floral and herbal notes with a bit nutty and some slight ashy notes. Flavour is quite similar, but there's also a toffeeish edge to the malt profile, and the herbal bitterness comes in quite nicely.

330ml bottle. Clear, mahogany colour with ruby shimmer and average, thick, creamy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, dark malty aroma, notes of malt lozenge, a minimally roasty touch. Taste is minimally dry, slightly roasty and minimally sweet dark malty, hints of malt lozenge, diluted hints of pumpernickel, slightly grassy hoppy overtones with a minimally metallic touch. Watery texture, smooth and soft palate, fine and soft, still efficacious carbonation. Nice appearance, a bit anaemic and watery in taste - OK.
