Tap at Salon piva. Clear golden colour. Very raw aroma, worty and rough grassy herbal Czech hoppiness. Very unbalanced rough taste. Thin bodied, raw worty flavour, really rough hoppy flavour, oxidized as well. Unpleasant bitterness. Not good.

500ml bottle [as Dvanáctka Světlý Ležák Premium]. Clear, orangey, dark golden colour with small to average, thick, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy, strawy aroma, hints of "country air" impregnated with freshly deployed slurry, a cautious touch of red apple. Taste is slightly dry, minimally sweet pale malty, a touch of red apple, some malty spiciness, additionally some grassy hoppy, almost peppery spiciness. Not bad in the end.

Bottle. It’s a clear, dark amber to brown beer with a small, dense, beige head. The aroma is on the malty side, with toffee and caramel sauce, some dark dried fruits and a piney, grassy hop touch. It’s full-bodied, smooth and semi-dry on the palate, with flavors of caramel sauce and dark dried fruits. Nice bitterness. Long finish. Quite nice this one, sure on the malty side. 150725

On tap at Berliner Bierfestival. (as Rohozec Dunkel.) Almost clear, dark brown body with a nice, lasting, beige head. Malty-sweet nose, slightly fruity, and some hops and caramel. The flavor is a bit sweet, malty-sweet that is, with caramel, some fruit and a little hint of metal. It finishes with some metal and roast, and some dried fruits. Medium body. The metal flavor shouldn’t be there, it lowes the score a bit, and it is also a bit sweet, I would like it drier, else it is a decent beer. (070805)

Bottle. A hazy, candy red beer topped by a finger-thick dense pink head. The aroma has mostly artificial raspberry candy, with some pale lager in the back. It’s pretty much the same in the flavor, but it’s quite grainy and with a little bitterness. Medium body, it’s quite dry and with some bitterness and a decent carbonation level. Lasting finish Sort of decent this one but not a beer I am going to have again. Lovely looks though. 150724
