Established in 1850
After the end of communism and the split of Czechoslovakia, the brewery came into private hands in 1994 who however without the know-how for running a brewery. This resulted in bankruptcy in 2002, the brewery was very outdated and the debt burden very high and yet it was taken over. The production process was examined and everything was renewed, resulting in a high quality of brewed beer.

shared by yespr. clear brown, small white head. sweet malty, sweet caramelly, bitterness in the aroma. flavor is slightly herbal, caramelly, malty, dry hoppy.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is grassy hoppy. Bitter and grassy flavoured. Dry and hoppy finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Grassy and slight cornish flavoured. Bitter, metallic and cornish finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a clear deep golden with a lacing white head. Sweet malty nose with some flowery, fresh hops. Medium body, good clean and sweet hops with quite some sulphur. A little late mould and metal. Hoppy finish. 030511

Bottle 50 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Comes as: "Rohozec Skalák Řezaný Zimní Ležák 11°". Pours a clear deep golden with an off-white head. Sweet malty and somewhat caramellish nose. Medium body, some caramel, a somewhat fusty edge and a dry and hoppy finish. 030511

From tap at Prague Beermuseum. Pours clear and golden red with a small pink head. Aroma is raspberry citric fruity. Medium sweet and distinct raspberry fruity flavoured. Mild bitterness and vague acidic touch. Ends dry and fruity.

Slightly hazy red with a creamy pink head. Strong rasperry juice aroma. Sweet raspberry flavour with a certain bitterness. Thinnish mouthfeel, rather refreshing beer.
