Bottle. Murky brown color with tiny beige head. Aroma is vanilla, brown sugar, soy sauce, wood sugars, cognac with imagination. Taste is full on soy sauce, barrel sugars, a bit autolysis flavours. Oily mouthfeel, almost flat. Basically pure soy sauce with extra vanilla.

Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Fine malty aroma. Starts intense malty, modest dry, earthy notes, rusty, woody hints. Mild sourish. Finish well balanced, intense earthy-malty. Nice one!

0,33 l bottle. Thanks to Jacci & Nils. Declared with 10.5 % alc on the label. Pours out in an unclear dark red brown with a mighty beige frothy head. Thick malty alcoholic smell. Taste starts more smooth, malty, some sugar sweetness in the background. Little bit alcoholic also in the second row. Some choco, fresh leather and burnt grain. Increasing alcoholic sharpness in the aftertaste. Strong stuff.

Big thank you to Nils & Jacci for that 0,33 l bottle. Now labeled with 6.6% vol and 40 IBU. Red brown in the glass, nearly clear with a two finger foamy beige head. Malty smell. Taste starts with a roasted malty sweetness and caramell. Blockmalz Bonbon. If you know them. Little bit scratchy. Present hop, grainy in the middle part. Increasing fruity and a little bit alcoholic to the end. Nice Doppelbock.

0,33 l bottle from Nils, Jacci & Santa Claus. Thanks a lot! Pours out in an unclear bright copper with a surprisingly more than one finger pale beige frothy head. Looks really good. Barrelwood and herbal smell. Taste starts with an alcoholic sharpness, herbal fruity like "Tannenduft Schaumbad" [sorry, don´t know the right words in english ...], some whisky elements. Caramell in the background. Hints of sweetness. More bitterness than expected but also smooth palate. Low carbonation. No easy drinkin´ stuff but very interesting.

Taste starts with more sweet dark fruitieness than dark coffee, milky bedding, sweet background. Very smooth. Increasing coffee or cappuccino to the end. Low mid bitterness in the aftertaste.

Big thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that bottle. Looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, nice head. Starts intense hoppy-fruity, fine notes of lemon, some apricot, light sourish notes. Light bitter background. Quite drinkable. Nice one!
