At Beatnikz Republic, we love all beer styles; our guiding principle is to make the beers that make us happy. We always use the best ingredients possible, from beautifully malted grains, to the freshest hops, to the juiciest fruit.
Over the years we have created, XPAs, APAs, SIPAs, IPAs, sours, porters, stouts, reds, West Coasts, New Englands and have recently embarked on our barrel ageing programme - so we have something for everyone.
Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Golden-amber with a mild fizz. It's an ordinarily hoppy keg ale with a fuller body and mild fruit in its nose.
440ml can. Pours hazy dark orange with a large head. Aroma is juicy tropical and stone fruit. Taste is creamy stone fruit to start with a strong bitter finish. A little tropical fruit on the aftertaste.
Cask at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours lightly hazy gold with a frothy, white head. Serviceable stuff, relaxed lemony hops, grassy bitterness, dry pale malts. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Finishes with further clean grassy bite, lemon rind, straw. Drinks fine.
Cask @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Hazy yellow-amber with a creamy-frothy head. Has a bland but tolerably dry fruitiness, with the latter best stated in its nose.
Cask @ Beatnikz Republic, Manchester. Pours amber with a creamy head. Caramel, bread and pine. Smooth toffee and citrus but a perfect match. Dry bitter finish.
Keg @ Beatnikz Republic Bar, Manchester. Paler yellow-amber with a thin head. It's certainly dry in the palate, but retains a decent enough tropical fruitiness
Can from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden amber pour with a bubbly off white head, aroma has citrus and malts, taste has malts, some minerals, caramel, some fruit, clearly a bad interpretation of a NEIPA.
