Can shared in London. Cheers! Pours black-brown with a bubbly, tan head. Light sweet flavour, quite leafy, dry, earthy. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Dry, peaty finish, bitter and earthy. So so.

Bottleshare at CBJ. Thanks to someone. Light dry and finely crisp palate. Thinnish but rich dark malts, decent dark chocolate. Mild peat and spicy ripe fruits. Tidy.

Can at home from Cat In A Glass online, 26/08/24. Black pour topped with a big old lasting khaki cap. Nose is dark malts, roasted notes, mellow rum soaked oak, vanilla, charr, herb. Taste comprises chocolate, molasses, spice, rum esters, vanilla, dried fruit rinds, charr, scorched earth, toffee crisp. Full bodied, light spritzy carbonation aiding the drinkability, semi drying close with a balanced kiss of alcohol. Tidy easy drinking Rum BA ... you get the spike of rum and it's not a hard work to drink as per some of it's ilk.

Cask at the 33rd Ealing Beer Festival, 12/07/24. Moderately hazed light golden blonde topped with a white cap. Nose is lemon zest, grass, herb, airy malts. Taste comprises zingy lemon, light salt kiss, soft malts, light breads, herb. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Sounded like it could be terrible but overall quite a refreshing drop on a hote day.
