Description
Neptune Brewery has been brewing modern beers, inspired by tradition, since 2015. We’re a small but mighty team and proudly independent. Our beers are naturally conditioned and all the “uns” - that’s unfiltered, unpasteurised and unfined - ensuring the greatest flavour in each brew. It also means our beers are vegan friendly as we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy them.

Can courtesy of dad, who picked it up directly from the brewery, cheers Dad! Had this Tuesday 16th November 2021 (my birthday) cooking Makkaroni mit Pfifferlingsauce and listening to Steve Lamaqs Evening Session on 6 Music. Pours hazy amber with a huge white head. Taste is very nice, nice rustic but also a little citrussy bitterness, nice maltiness also. Soft moutheel, streaky lemony, really nice beer.

Cask at Hops, Crewe. Pours almost black with minimal beige head. There’s molasses and traces of liquorice in the aroma. Smooth and creamy in the mouth with porridge and liquorice being the main flavours. Bit part players are roast malts, dark fruits and alcoholic strength. Finish is dry and malty. A pretty d**n good solid stout – plenty of body to it.

Bottle courtesy of my Dad, cheers Dad! Consumed at home Wednesday 3rd November 2021, listening to My Bloody Valentine - Loveless in full on 6Music inducted into Steve Lamaqs classic album club. Pours mid gold with a white head, hazy. Got to be honest not really doing it for me, tastes a little bit thin, could do with a bit more backbone, a hint of plastic, some sweetness. Yea not really my cup of tea.

Large tight white head stayed on an unclear clear pale amber coloured body. Minimal stone fruit aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & lively on the back with a cloying aft. Bitter citrus, stone fruit & lightly hopped tastes with a tangy. Solid but unadventurous....

Can directly from Neptune courtesy of and shared with dad, Saturday 16th October 2021 listening to MGMT, at Isobel's Spond, nr Kington Herefordshire at the after wedding party. Pours a pink, hazy with a white head. This is a big step up from the Neptune Tellus Hibiscus and Mint Wheat that I have just had. Fruity, tart, soft, wheaty. Lovely

Can directly from Neptune courtesy of and shared with dad, Saturday 16th October 2021 listening to MGMT, at Isobel's Spond, nr Kington Herefordshire at the after wedding party. Pours a rosé wine pinkieness, clear (unusual for a wheat?) pinky head. A strange beer, very herby, very, very floral, minty, wheatiness in mouth. Not my thing.
