Description
Neptune Brewery has been brewing modern beers, inspired by tradition, since 2015. We’re a small but mighty team and proudly independent. Our beers are naturally conditioned and all the “uns” - that’s unfiltered, unpasteurised and unfined - ensuring the greatest flavour in each brew. It also means our beers are vegan friendly as we believe that everyone should be able to enjoy them.

Hand-pulled cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn. Black in the glass, some patchwork on the surface, dotted spots on the glass. Nicely roasted, mid-sweet chocolate malts on the nose. Fine malt-driven taste of milk chocolate, dark bread and a distant note of black coffee. Slightly roasted, semi-sweet chocolate malty finish. Like it.

Beer number twelve at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2025. The second example of the Talus hop in a brew at the event, and not as gritty this time around. Just as hoppy though.

Beer number thirteen at the Great British Winter Beer Festival 2025. Another strong-hoppy one, basically the tale of the last hour for me. Fruity nose, evident but lesser in taste.
