Cask, tart, light sourness, not so much rye or saison, but there’s a fruity thing going on. Bit pepper spicy. Drinkable.

Keg at the Merchant, Canary Wharf, 18/09/19. Very light haze on a pale golden blonde pour with a decent white cap. Nose is orange squash, floral notes, melon, straw. Taste comprises sweet malts, tangerine, grass, melon, light breads. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Passable affair.

The Merchant, Canary Wharf, Keg. Almost clear paleish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry and has a nice fine crispness. Thin malts, mildly sweet. Light seltzer. Decent citric peel, orange and grapefruit. Crisp finish. Tidy but nothing exciting.
