Tap at Valhalla, thx Barba crew! Very dark brown, blackish body, not much beige head. Peaty, bit sticky, minerally, somewhat nutty dry aroma. Smooth, sweetish caramelly maltiness overwhelmed by heaps of minerally, salty peat, well restrained alcohol. Fun! Especially if you love peat. I might not, not that much, but respect.

(Can, 0.44l, from Alko, 20260123) The beer poured orange and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had ripe fruits, citrus fruits and peach. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were citrus fruits, mango, pineapple and light bitterness. Aftertaste had mango and light bitterness. Good aroma, very thin taste.

2024 version. Med-thin bod, but intense flavor. Low carbo. Lots of dark fruits, phenols, temperky, umami, tobbacco. Not even that malty, but strong and sexy. Nice.

From Amstein, St-Légier. Opening this can, four days ago, at Epalinges, at night. Nice and tasty beer, free of alcool, really smooth, malty, oat probably, really fruity and syrupy, lychee, passion fruit, citrus and bitter, 03.12.24

Draught at Cafe Sånn, shared with Finn. A few patches on the surface of a near coal black body, scattered lacing. Attractive on the nose with lightly spiced dark fruits and malts. Well blended taste of chocolate-caramel joined by dried fruits and some Yuletide spices, oaky backbone. Smoothly roasted ending with warmth from the alcohol. Well bodied. Quite great slow sipper qualities. (Tromsø, 13.01.2026).

440ml can. Almost black with a dense tan head. Aroma of dark malts, liquorice, chocolate, light roast. Taste of chocolate, dark malts, liquorice, roast malts, hint of vanilla, hops in the background, bittersweet. Medium bodied. Good.
London Black is a modern classic of the style but this "bold twist" doesn't really improve on it.

Sample, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy coppery amber, rich lively head. Piney lime aroma. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Syrup and lime, pine mango. Sticky, mildly resinous finish.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, off-white head. Slightly nutty, caramelly nose. Light body, some wort accents before an unpleasant chemical and metallic nose sets in. No bitterness and no pleasure. 040126
