Slender 12oz can from 604. Stemless wine glass @home.

Hazy, yellow/green pour, quick crashing soda head.

Nose is heady with mandarin bittersweetness. Way in the back there's some earth & starch.

Generous amount of bitter orange pith, acid from the yuzu? Very soft & bittersweet tangerine acids coats everything. There's a barely noticeable earthy fuel that continues past it all, like sake. A very generic, slightly oatmeal-ish vodka flavor if you look hard enough.

Spritzy, citrusy, mellow tart, good acid, coarsely filtered, indifferent alcohol.

Refreshing to drink, but this could easily be diluted moonshine.

On tap at Ben's Tune Up. Pint glass over ice.

Candy cane/cranberry juice/soda look.

Not much nose. Soda, cheap cider, cranberry. Apparently it's infused with real cranberries, not juice.

Sour/fresh/strong cranberry & vodka feels. Lingering numbness on the tongue. No identifiable sake characteristics. Just an alcohol medium.

Slight carbonation that may or may not be intentional. Plenty of alcohol, though not harsh.

Pretty bland, but easy & refreshing.

Tap. Pours opaque black, medium tan head, dissipates quickly, nice residual and lacing. Aroma is sea air, dish water. Flavor is roasty, salty, grainy, very light sour, coffee. Medium body. Much better than aroma would imply.

Sampled at Ben’s Tune Up - pretty late at night. Lighting was all over the place, so I can’t really say what the appearance was of this one. Aroma was light tropical notes, pineapple and a touch of jalapeno fruit notes - not a lot of heat. Flavor was light jalapeno, with pineapple, alcohol and rice finish. Slight heat, but nothing overpowering. Interesting.

Sampled at Ben’s Tune Up - pretty late at night. Lighting was all over the place, so I can’t really say what the appearance was of this one. Aroma was light cucumber water, touch of sake rice notes, light booze. Strawberry is effeminately there. Flavor was light strawberry notes, some light berry and cucumber comes through towards the end of the sip. Pretty refreshing for being 12%.
