Sehr schönes frisches Weizenbier. Im Antrunk schön hefig-frisch, viele fruchtige Aromen. Kaum Herbe wahrnehmbar. Im Nachgeschmack sehr schön hefig. Wirklich gutes Weizen!!

Selten so ein gutes Bier getestet! Der Antrunk ist süßlich-malzig, aber im Mund entfaltet sich eine tolle süßliche Note mit starken Anklängen an Toffee. Die Süffigkeit ist absolute Spitze, samtig weich läuft es die Kehle herunter. Die Karamelnote, gepaart mit schönem Röstmalz und angenehmer Hopfennote bleibt noch lange im Mund erhalten.
Vielleicht schmeckt das Bier auch so toll, weil die Brauerei als eine der Wenigen noch eine eigene Mälzerei besitzt…

Bottle looks simple but really good. Beer in the glass a bit darker than exspected, nice head. Starts mild but not washy, fine malty, spicy, interesting hints of caramel. Mild sourish without being too much. Well balanced finish, quite drinkable. A good one.

Draft at the Nurnberger Alm, 27/7/2013. Light brown with a decent, off-white head and plenty of carbonation. Sweetish beer, with some caramel and a touch of hedgerow fruits, bready malts and a decent, bitter finish. Good.

Bottle 500ml. w. swing top.Clear medium amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130216]

Aroma is confusing; it is sweet, malty and refreshing at the same time. It has grassy hops, some grain and hints of berries. Flavour is also refreshing and sweet with malt, some frainy notes, hints of honey and berries. Usually I am not a friend of dunkler bocks but this one was good.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark golden body and a small light beige head. The aroma is malty and biscuity, with some light fruityness and some hay. The flavor has some toffee and biscuits, as well as fruityness and a touch of bitterness. Medium body, quite dry, and a bit low on the carbonation. Lightly bitter in the end.
