Light brown with a frothy, white head. Aroma promises roasted grains, caramel, spice. Taste is bitter over a rich, malty sweet base. Lingering spice. Medium bodied, mild carbonation, decent chewiness. Very good overall balance between hoppy bitterness, caramel sweetness and spice. Nice.

Bottle picked up from Sulzberger Bierhaus, Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, consumed at home Saturday 18th February 2023 listening to Scott Lavene - Milk City Sweethearts and cooking a Morroccan Fish Tagine. Pours deep chestnut, good clarity, off white head. Fruity but then some toffee flavours begin to steal the show. Big maltiness, some bitterness, a little hoppy, caramel, quite decent.

Lindenbräu Festbier, Flasche von Hopfen & Malz im Wedding. - Satt kupfergoldbraun, klar. (31.12.2020.)

Bottle. Reddish dark amber color with white head. Aroma is toffee, butterscotch, some diac. Taste is butterscotch, some off fruit flavours (but not in a bad way), rusty, mineralic finish. Oily mouthfeel. Fun - after warming up a bit, it does develop a heavy diacetyl flavour, though.

Clear ruby/brown with little white head. Aroma is crackery malts, some fruhtgummi, wood, some dried fruit. Taste is slightly spicy with lots of roast bittersweetness. Medium heavy, good to drink, roasty on the tongue. Really nice.
